I was born in Poland, I grew up in Greece, and I am currently raising a family in America.  I studied in the National Conservatory of Athens/Greece, where I was taught that music is only classical music.   I performed professionally at Ovations (Houston/Texas), Skies restaurant (Hyatt Regency / Kansas City), and at the Bo Bette theatre (Independence Texas), where I discovered that music is also full of jazz and improvisations.  Currently I am teaching at Symington Accelerated Elementary, where I am being taught everyday by kids (from kindergartners to fifth graders) that music is all about wonderful accidents, wonderful questions, and a never ending road to busy imaginations.  

 My favorite quote:  A student came up to me and proudly announced:  "I was a leader today."    At first I was puzzled, then I realized few weeks ago I was teaching my student that they should be leaders, and stand strong and focus no matter what chaos might take place.

All in all, to me Music is an excuse for higher thinking, for problem solving, for speaking what words cannot express, and for releasing in a healthy manner strong feelings (anger, sadness, or joy, etc).  Music is RAP, R and B, Classical, Hip Hop, Folk, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Heavy Metal, Country, and anything that has a beat or a melody to it.  I don't expect all my students to turn one day into musicians,   ...But, I do expect from all my students to try their best, to appreciate taking risks, and to respect the cultural similarities and differences of a very global and fantastic world.  Finally, I do expect my students to visualize themselves as strong thinkers and capable of accomplishing anything their busy minds desire.   I believe in every each one of them!
